I love to compose wide variety of music for different platforms and art forms such as films, digital streaming services and so on.
I love to produce music too- be behind the glass in the studio or behind the desk in live productions.
I mix tracks and also do sound design for films.
I also like to perform music- live or in the studio!
I started music at the age of 6 with a Georgian piano teacher named Tsuri Antidze in Izmir, Turkey. When I was 11, I wanted to learn classical guitar- and I did for 1 year. At the age of 12 I started taking electric guitar lessons and became obsessed with electric guitar until my university days. I bought my first microphone and sound card at the age of 15 and started composing.
I studied music in Istanbul Bilgi University, Turkey and took courses of composition and recording technologies. Classical Western Music Theory (and a bit of Modal Harmony & Traditional Turkish Harmony), Composition, Form Analysis, Classical Instrumentation, Audio Recording Technics, Stereo & Surround Mixing, Live Sound Reinforcement are the main fields that I learned in University. I had the privilige to work on my compositions with Yiğit Özatalay (who did his post graduate degree of music composition in Milan Conservatory) and Tolga Zafer Özdemir (Who did his PhD in music composition in University of Memphis), learned Stereo & Surround Mixing from Mike Nielsen. I did a Radio Program in Universities Radio "RadyoVesaire" for 2 semesters. Then, I did my voluntary internship in Hayyam Studyoları with Can Aykal and also joined him with some of his live recording sessions of Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra. After that, I worked as a live sound engineer for 2 years in Nardis Jazz Club Istanbul, which is the best jazz club in Turkey (they're amazing- not me!).
I did my music design masters in HKU, focusing solely on creating music for visuals for two years. I had the privilege to work on my thesis with Niko Langenhuijsen and Gerard van Wolveren. Received constant feedback from experienced film music composer lecturers in HKU such as Ferdinand Boland and Danny Weijermans. After doing my music design masters with Holland Scholarship, I decided to work as a freelancer in music for advertisement, films and theater.
